Investment on return
- There is scope for good returns on investment in the industry. As an example. An investment of ZMK40,000/episode (production costs for YEZI Arts) for a drama series, which can in turn be sold at around K65,000 for one episode. If we multiply this by 26 episodes, it can go to as much as a gross of ZMK1,690,000
- Similarly, the cost of a documentary production for YEZI Arts at K45,000/documentary for 13 (ZMK520,000) can result in a minimum gross of ZMK780,000, when sold to ONLY one entity). Because it is not commissioned, the rights are with us, and can be sold to several other television stations and platforms, even at a minimum. Our projection thus, is that from one documentary of the stated series you can get over K100,000 of sales directly and indirectly.
