Where is the Market?
◦Local: so far, we have several television stations that have come online but are lacking in content
◦Where they have content, it is mostly internally produced, but there is a limitation to the extent to which that can hold
◦Sooner, they will be looking out for acquisition of content
- International: Internationally, this is in two parts:
◦the Zambian diaspora (estimated at 20,000+), and
◦others who are incrementally looking for African/Zambian content.
One best way is to get it produced, then licensed. Commissioning has proved to be disadvantaging so far.
